- Build and lead the Data Governance team.
- Establish enterprise data standards, policies, and governance processes.
- Define and embed data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.
- Drive improvements in data quality, master data, metadata, and data lineage.
- Ensure Musgrave’s data is suitable for AI/ML use cases and supports responsible, ethical AI adoption.
- Support compliance with GDPR and emerging AI regulations.
- Partner with Retail, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology teams to embed governance into everyday processes.
- Promote data literacy and champion a culture of trusted, well‑managed data across the organisation.
- Provide leadership, communication, and guidance on data governance best practice.
What we’re looking for:
- Significant leadership experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or Data Strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver transformational change in data governance.
- Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks, metadata management, and stewardship models.
- Understanding AI/ML data requirements and responsible AI practices.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, wholesale, or supply‑chain‑driven environments is desirable.
