As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Finance Team as a Supplier Income Accountant. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Collection and verification of all relevant supplier income due to the Musgrave Division

  • Drive cash-flow improvements / opportunities for the business through earlier collection of monies

  • Responsible for the preparation of the Balanced Score Card and all other ad-hoc reporting

  • Mix Analysis for the relevant division

  • Regular communication with Trading Managers to resolve any supplier issues and ad hoc queries

  • Responsible for Budgeting & Forecasting of long-term agreement (LTA) rates for a division

  • Responsibility for the maintenance, accuracy, and reconciliation of control sheets and relevant general ledger accounts

  • Assist in the preparation of annual accounts and audit through the preparation of robust accruals

  • Responsibility for review, development and documentation of processes in relevant areas

  • Responsibility for development and maintenance of relevant systems

  • Support the Head of Musgrave Business Services and Senior Commercial Accountant in ad-hoc tasks.

What we are looking for: 

  • Fully qualified accountant with at least 2 years relevant experience

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong IT skills. In particular a high level of proficiency in excel is required

  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work well as part of a team

  • Knowledge of Oracle or similar financial system would be an advantage
